Maybird Release New Single “Keep In Line”

MAYBIRD RELEASE NEW SINGLE “KEEP IN LINE” VIA 30TH CENTURY RECORDS
ANNOUNCE BROOKLYN SHOW + US SPRING TOUR DATES

Stream/share “Keep In Line”

Maybird, a four-piece band from Rochester NY, have today released their newest single, “Keep In Line” produced by Patrick Carney of The Black Keys. DIY Magazine premiered the single and called it a “timeless psych-pop single” they also note it “often toes the line between pure psych-pop euphoria and a sense of frustration and restlessness, something that also feeds into the lyrics.”

Maybird was founded by Josh Netsky and have become known for creating timeless music with psychedelic pop overtones. Josh discussed the new single and noted, “I was sitting up on my roof in Brooklyn alone, zoned out, listening to this construction vehicle beeping a repetitive melody in the distance and something clicked. I recorded the sound of the beeps and made that the basis for “Keep in Line.” The lyrics ended up being about a feeling of restlessness when someone you’re used to having around is out being productive and you’re not, but wish you were… that’s what was going on with me at the time. There’s some pretty clear relationship lingo in here, but a lot of this song is also about the desire to travel and make music.”

In addition to the band’s headline Brooklyn Show on June 3rd, Maybird has also announced a US spring tour which will see them play Philadelphia, Boston, DC and more. A full run down can be found below.
