Today we are excited to share two unreleased tracks from Glasgow based Apache Sun. The duo traffic in sunburnt, desert psychedelia, a style further enhanced by the mixing choices of the late Richard Swift. A-Side “Broken Branches” is a reverb soaked, lasso spinning desert oasis of a track, buoyed by a steady snare drum and twangy guitar leads. “Anima” expands on the jammy inclinations hinted at in “Broken Branches” for a murky, dub infused groove.

Though the duo are now defunct, principle songwriter Kris Mitchell is carrying on their fuzz infused sound with his new project (The Lost Tapes), and taking it deeper into the cave.
